1 User safety is paramount
2 Type of data collected
When visiting and using the MyFitMap website, statistical visitor data is collected about which parts of the website are visited particularly frequently by the respective user. For example, data regarding the browser, operating system, weblogs and other connection data used by the user may be collected, regardless of whether it is required for our or other purposes. In this context, it is sometimes necessary to use so-called cookies. These collected data do not contain any personal reference or are sufficiently anonymous to not be able to draw any conclusions about your person. MyFitMap does not automatically collect personal user data such as name, address, telephone number or e-mail address.
3 Social-Media Content
MyFitMap can use social media plugins on its APP, e.g. from Facebook, Google+ or Twitter. These platforms have their own data protection regulations, on which MyFitMap has no influence. If the user does not want any of these plugins to be loaded, it is recommended to log out of the corresponding social media service. Furthermore, various browsers can be set or supplemented with add-ons (e.g. Facebook blockers) so that the social media plug-ins are not loaded.
4 Disclosure of your data
5 Data security
The transmission of data via the Internet is not absolutely secure. MyFitMap works with service providers and Internet providers who take appropriate technical and organizational security precautions to protect the personal data of users. However, MyFitMap cannot guarantee the security of the data transmitted by the user. Any data transmission is therefore at your own risk.
6 Your rights of information and revocation
Of course, every user is free to MyFitMap at any time – for example in an e-mail – to inform us that the personal data will not be used to contact us in the future. Participation in the special services of MyFitMap App, such as the newsletter service, can also be revoked at any time.
7 Final provisions
Should individual provisions or parts of these data protection provisions prove to be null and void or ineffective, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining data protection provisions. The place of jurisdiction and the applicable law are governed by the GTC.
